Hakubaku only uses premium organic raw products and processes the raw materials within one or two days to ensure no deterioration prior to manufacture. We do not have massive silos of ingredients sitting around going stale and most people who visit our factory are surprised at how small our storehouses are.
Making noodles is essentially a four stage process: - Mixing the very best organic ingredients under the strictest of conditions to generate the dough with exactly the right elasticity and texture
- Gently Rolling the dough 8 specialised rolling machines to generate a sheet of dough which is just the right consistency for noodles. The last roller has specially shaped rollers which cut the dough into long noodles
- Drying - with meticulous attention to detail Hakubaku uses computer technology to control the plant’s 19 oven, 60 metre drying chamber, each with their own heating, cooling and humidifying capabilities. Any deviation could completely alter the quality of their premium noodles. The noodles are then blow-dried using only purified air as they move through the dryer
